Question 1

Where do you recruit the talent?

Accepted Answer

While we support broader Latin America, our core focus is South America—where we have the strongest networks, deepest expertise, and best talent outcomes.

Question 2

Do you recruit and employ talent directly or rely on partners?

Accepted Answer

All talent is sourced by our in-house recruiting team and employed directly through our model—we manage payroll, contracts, and compliance end-to-end. We have the option to use payroll partners if required or requested by the client.

Question 3

What safeguards are in place to ensure candidate authenticity?

Accepted Answer

We recognize that with the rise of AI and remote work, fraudulent activity is a valid concern (though still rare). Our approach is built to mitigate that risk from the start. It begins with an experienced recruiting team trained to identify red flags at every stage of the process. All candidates are screened live on video, with technical evaluations conducted in real time to ensure authenticity and capability. We also encourage clients to allow IDP to administer client interviews to maintain consistency and confidence from our process through yours. After placement, we stay engaged and partner with you on best practices for managing remote talent—ensuring a secure, successful, and long-term engagement.

Question 4

How quickly can we get started and see candidates?

Accepted Answer

We begin sourcing and screening talent immediately after a thorough intake with your hiring manager. Based on that conversation, we set clear expectations on timing depending on market supply, role complexity, and requirements. While we prioritize speed, our focus is always on delivering the highest quality talent as quickly as possible; never sacrificing fit for pace.

Question 5

What happens if the talent deployed is not the right match for us?

Accepted Answer

While our process is designed to deliver strong, long-term matches, we understand not every placement is perfect. That's why we stay closely involved from day one—supporting onboarding and encouraging regular check-ins to ensure the talent is integrating successfully. If alignment isn't achieved within the first 30 days, we move quickly to identify and replace the resource.

Question 6

What can I expect to see in cost savings?

Accepted Answer

Our model is designed to deliver meaningful cost efficiency without compromising quality. While most clients see 40-50% savings compared to U.S. contractor rates, this can vary based on role, location, and market dynamics such as supply, demand, and currency. We don't position our talent as "low-cost". Our professionals are highly qualified, with strong English proficiency, advanced certifications, and experience from leading universities and global organizations.

Question 7

What is the pricing model?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the engagement model—whether it's staff augmentation, a talent pod, or permanent hiring. We offer flexible and fully transparent pricing structures tailored to each model. Most clients prefer hourly or monthly rates for staff augmentation and talent pods, and a fee-based structure for permanent placements. The majority of our clients are billed in USD for simplicity and consistency.

Question 8

How do you handle Security?

Accepted Answer

Our talent operates within your existing security framework—accessing systems through your virtual environments and following the same protocols as your remote workforce. We can provide company-issued hardware if needed, and we work closely with you to understand and mirror your security requirements and any required flow-downs.

Question 9

What are the legal and contractual components that we should be aware of?

Accepted Answer

We ensure all talent engagements are fully compliant with local labor laws and structured appropriately within each country we operate in. Our agreements are designed to meet local regulatory requirements while maintaining consistency and protection for both our clients and our talent. On the client side, IDP is a U.S.-based corporation with established entities in Latin America. Most clients contract directly with our U.S. entity for simplicity, though we can also structure agreements through our local entities when needed—ensuring a compliant, flexible, and seamless engagement.

Question 10

Why should I work with IDP?

Accepted Answer

We connect top talent in Latin America with meaningful opportunities at leading global companies; roles that offer real impact, growth, and long-term potential. Our recruiting team brings deep experience in local markets, ensuring a thoughtful, transparent, and supportive process from start to finish. We make onboarding simple, provide consistent communication, and stay engaged throughout each engagement; supporting your success, career development, and long-term growth.

Question 11

What is the process to get engaged?

Accepted Answer

Our process is straightforward and supportive. It starts with an initial conversation to understand your background, skills, and career goals. From there, we match you with relevant opportunities and guide you through interviews with our clients. We prioritize clear communication, provide as much guidance as possible, and work to gather and share timely feedback from our clients at every stage. Once selected, we handle onboarding, contracts, and setup—ensuring a smooth transition. Throughout the process and beyond, we stay engaged to support your success and long-term growth.

Question 12

What types of positions and skill sets do you support?

Accepted Answer

We focus on five core disciplines: Development, Data, Cloud, Enterprise, and Next Gen. That said, our network and client relationships often extend beyond these areas, giving us access to additional roles across a range of functions as opportunities arise.

Question 13

How long are your engagements?

Accepted Answer

Engagement length varies based on the model and client needs. We support staff augmentation, talent pods, and permanent placements; ranging from part-time and short-term support to long-term engagements. Most of our opportunities are long-term contracts, contract-to-hire, or permanent roles, offering stability and growth over time.

Question 14

Will I be working directly with U.S. teams?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the client. We have a mixture of U.S., Global, and Latin America based clients. The majority of our roles with U.S. and Global clients require strong English but ultimately it depends on the customer needs.

Question 15

What level of English is required?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the customer. Some of our customers require strong English but ultimately it depends on the client.

Question 16

Are these roles remote or on-site?

Accepted Answer

The majority of our opportunities are fully remote, allowing you to work from home while collaborating closely with global teams.

Question 17

Will I receive support after I start?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our relationship doesn't end when you start your assignment. The IDP team remains available throughout your engagement to support you with onboarding, communication, timesheets, invoicing, contract matters, performance feedback, and any challenges that may arise. We conduct regular check-ins to ensure both you and the client are satisfied and to help address issues before they become problems. Our goal is to be a long-term partner in your success, providing guidance and support every step of the way.

Question 18

How do you match me with the right opportunity?

Accepted Answer

We take a consultative approach, understanding your technical skills, experience, and career goals to ensure alignment with the right team and opportunity.
